GST and BAS Reports

OneBookPlus automatically tracks GST on your invoices and expenses so you can prepare your BAS with confidence.

Understanding GST in OneBookPlus

  • When you create an invoice, GST is calculated at 10% (inclusive or exclusive)
  • When you record an expense, you can mark it as taxable and enter the GST amount
  • The accounting dashboard shows GST Collected (from invoices) vs GST Paid (from expenses)

BAS Report

Go to AccountingGST/BAS Report to see:

  • Quarterly periods aligned to the Australian financial year:
  • Q1: July–September
  • Q2: October–December
  • Q3: January–March
  • Q4: April–June
  • GST collected on sales
  • GST paid on purchases
  • Net GST payable or refundable

ATO Tax Lodgement (Optional)

If you install the ATO Tax Lodgement app from the App Store, you can:

  • View BAS-ready tax summaries
  • Calculate PAYG and other obligations
  • Lodge your BAS directly with the ATO
**Note:** Always verify figures with your accountant before lodging. OneBookPlus provides the data — your accountant provides the advice.
