From lost BAS weekends to a full business platform. Here's where we've been and where we're headed.
The idea
Years of running businesses on a spreadsheet for contacts, another for invoices, a shoebox for receipts — and losing whole weekends to BAS reconciliation — convinced our founder there had to be one book that did it all.
Building
We built the first version while talking to the small to medium business owners we'd worked with — tradies, restaurants, salons, freelancers — to make sure it solved their real admin problems, not imagined ones.
Platform launch
OneBookPlus goes live in Australia. Invoicing, quotes, CRM, bookings, expenses, accounting, bank imports, and a modular App Marketplace — all in one platform.
Industry suites
Hospitality (Point of Sale, table management, menus, reservations), retail (POS, product catalogue, barcode scanning, inventory), and trades (drag-and-drop job pipeline, quote-to-job conversion, photo notes).
Jobs, rostering & payroll
Job management with batch invoicing and weekly scheduling. Employee rostering, timesheets, leave tracking, and payroll with super and PAYG.
Tax tracking & calculators
Built-in GST and BAS tracking, plus 13 free tax calculators. Direct ATO tax lodgement (BAS, individual returns, TPAR) is coming soon.
iOS app live on the App Store
The native iPhone and iPad app — built in Swift with SwiftUI — is approved and live on the App Store, with in-app subscriptions, Face ID lock, and a two-pane iPad layout. Run the whole business from your pocket.
Payments & email marketing
Stripe Connect integration, online invoice payments, email campaigns, automated follow-ups, and review request automation.
The AI layer
Ask AI ships inside the iOS app — natural-language answers from your own books. On the website, Plus answers visitor questions instantly with a one-tap handoff to a real human. The AI Receptionist answers calls and texts 24/7 and books the job; AI Companion chases payments, follows up quotes and requests reviews in the background.
Android app
Native Android app with feature parity to iOS. Push notifications, offline mode, and receipt scanning.
Multi-currency & APAC expansion
Invoice in any currency, NZ GST, Singapore invoicing, Xero/MYOB sync, and localised compliance across the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Melbourne, Bishal has spent over a decade in digital marketing, web development, and small to medium business consulting.
