What changed on 11 July 2026: we clarified how subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed, cancelled and refunded, App Store billing is handled by Apple directly, and deleting your OneBookPlus account does not cancel an App Store subscription. This is a clarification of how App Store billing has always worked, not a change to your rights.
How a refund works depends on where you purchased. Subscriptions bought inside our iOS app are billed by Apple and refunded by Apple; subscriptions bought on our website are billed via Stripe and refunded by us. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you subscribed inside the OneBookPlus iOS app, Apple processes the payment against your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details, and we cannot charge, cancel, or refund App Store transactions ourselves, only Apple can.
Subscriptions purchased on onebookplus.com.au are billed via Stripe, either monthly or annually. Yearly plans are billed twelve months in advance and include two months free versus the monthly rate. You can cancel, or switch between monthly and annual, at any time from Settings → Billing, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made.
Annual plans are paid in advance for the full 12-month term. If you cancel part-way through a paid year, your plan stays active until the end of that term and simply does not renew, we do not provide a pro-rata refund for the unused months, as the term was billed in advance. This does not affect the 14-day change-of-mind window below, or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 4).
Email support@onebookplus.com.au from your account email within 14 days of the charge. We refund in full where:
We respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees. If our service has a major failure, you are entitled to remedies, including a refund, regardless of where you purchased or the timeframes above.
Questions about a charge? Contact support@onebookplus.com.au, include the email address on your account and the date of the charge. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
