What financial year does OneBookPlus use?

OneBookPlus uses the Australian financial year (1 July to 30 June). All quarterly reports align to this: Q1 is July–September, Q2 is October–December, Q3 is January–March, and Q4 is April–June.

Can I use OneBookPlus data for my BAS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The GST/BAS Report in Accounting shows your GST collected on sales, GST paid on purchases, and net GST for each quarter. You can use this data to prepare your BAS. If you install the ATO Tax Lodgement app, you can also lodge directly. Always verify figures with your accountant.

How is Net Profit calculated?

Accepted Answer

Net Profit = Total Revenue (paid invoices) minus Total Expenses (approved/paid expenses) for the selected period. Revenue only includes invoices that have been marked as paid. Expenses only include those with approved or paid status.
