Most quotes are not lost, they are forgotten. The follow-up screen exists so you can see which ones without opening each quote in turn.
What it shows
Go to Quotes, then Follow up. The list holds every quote that is still waiting on an answer, which means anything in draft, sent or viewed. Accepted and declined quotes drop off it, because there is nothing left to chase.
For each row you get:
- The client and the quote number
- The total
- How many days it has been sitting since the issue date
- Whether the valid-until date has already passed
Anything sitting three days or more is treated as stale and is what the list is really for.
Nudging
Each row has an Email and an SMS button. Both send a short reminder pointing the client back at the quote you already sent. They do not re-send the quote itself.
If the price or the scope has changed, do not nudge. Go to the quotes list and send a fresh quote instead, so the client is looking at the numbers you actually mean.
When the date has already passed
A nudge on an expired quote asks the client to accept something that is no longer on offer. Reissue it first. See when a quote expires.
