When someone books through your booking page, OneBookPlus creates a private link just for that booking and shows it to them on the confirmation screen. The same link goes in their confirmation email.
What they see
The business name and logo, the service, the date and time in your business timezone, and the current status of the booking.
What they can do
- Reschedule to another time you have open
- Cancel, subject to the cancellation policy you have set
- Add the appointment to their own calendar
A booking that is already cancelled, completed or under way cannot be changed from the link, and the page says which of those it is rather than failing silently.
What cancelling does to money
If the booking spent a credit from a prepaid pack, cancelling returns the credit. If the customer paid by card at the time of booking, cancelling does not refund anything on its own. Refunds stay a decision you make, from the booking in your dashboard.
Keeping the link private
The link is the key. Anyone who has it can see and change that booking, so it is not something to post publicly. It covers one booking and nothing else in your account.
