Automating Google Review Requests
Google reviews are critical for local businesses. The AI review harvester helps you request reviews from the right clients at the right time.
How It Works
The AI identifies the best moments to ask for a review based on:
- Invoice payment — a client who just paid promptly is likely satisfied
- Repeat bookings — clients who rebook are happy customers
- Positive interactions — recent activity suggesting a good experience
When the AI detects a good moment, it sends a polite review request email with a direct link to your Google Business Profile.
Setting Up Review Harvesting
- Go to Settings → AI & Automation
- Toggle Review Harvester to on
- Enter your Google Business Profile URL — this is the link clients click to leave a review
- Set a cooldown period — how many days to wait before asking the same client again (default: 90 days)
Finding Your Google Review Link
To get your direct review link:
- Search for your business on Google
- Click your Google Business Profile
- Find the "Write a review" button and copy the URL
- Paste it into the Review Harvester settings
Alternatively, search "Google Place ID Finder" to generate a direct review URL.
Review Request Email
The email sent to your client includes:
- A personalised greeting using their first name
- A thank you for their recent purchase or booking
- A direct link to leave a Google review
- Your business name and logo
Managing Requests
From Settings → AI & Automation → Review History, you can see:
- Which clients received review requests
- Whether they opened the email
- Your overall review request success rate
**Tip:** Businesses that consistently ask for reviews see 3–5x more Google reviews than those that don't. Even a modest increase in reviews can significantly boost your local search ranking.
