Getting Started with the AI Assistant
The OneBookPlus AI assistant helps you work faster by automating repetitive tasks and providing smart suggestions throughout the app.
Enabling AI Features
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- Select AI & Automation
- Toggle Enable AI Assistant to on
- Review the individual feature toggles below
Once enabled, you'll see the AI sparkle icon appear throughout the app wherever smart suggestions are available.
What the AI Assistant Can Do
The AI assistant currently supports:
- Invoice payment chasing — automatically send polite reminders to clients with overdue invoices
- Bank transaction categorisation — suggest expense categories for imported bank feed transactions
- Google review harvesting — request reviews from happy clients at the optimal time
- Smart suggestions — contextual hints and tips based on your usage patterns
How to Interact with the AI
Look for the sparkle icon next to actions throughout the app. When you see it, the AI has a suggestion for you. Click the icon to:
- Accept the suggestion and apply it immediately
- Dismiss the suggestion if it's not relevant
- Adjust the suggestion before applying
Privacy and Data
The AI assistant only uses your business data within your OneBookPlus account. Your data is never shared with other users or used to train external models. All AI processing happens securely within your account context.
Plans and Pricing
The AI assistant is included with the Growth plan. Starter plan users can add AI features for $25/month with a 3-month free trial. Free plan users can upgrade at any time.
**Tip:** Start by enabling AI payment chasing — it's the feature most users find valuable first, and it can significantly reduce your overdue invoices.
