Where things live in OneBookPlus
The exact menu path for every screen and setting, written the way the sidebar reads. Everything below is inside the dashboard at my.onebookplus.com.au.
Settings
Settings opens on Business Profile. Everything else in this group is one click from there.
- Your name, ABN and address
- Settings, then Business Profile. This is the Settings home, and what you put here prints on documents.
- Logo and brand colour
- Settings, then Branding
- Password, two-factor and trusted devices
- Settings, then Sign-in & Security. Two-factor offers three methods and you pick one: an authenticator app, a code by text message, or a code by email. The authenticator app is the strongest and the only one that also covers the iPhone app. Recovery codes are available for all three, and ticking "trust this device" skips the code on that device for 30 days.
- Requiring two-factor for everyone
- Settings, then Sign-in & Security, then Team security. Owners and admins only. Members get a 7-day grace period before it stops them signing in, and they still choose which of the three methods to use.
- How an invoice or quote looks
- Settings, then Document Appearance. Template, colour, font, header layout and logo size, and which details print.
- The default due date on new invoices
- Settings, then Document Appearance, then Payment terms & branding, then Default payment terms (days). The due date on an individual invoice can still be changed on the invoice itself.
- Invoice and quote number sequences
- Settings, then Document Numbering
- Taking card payments
- Settings, then Card Payments. Connect Stripe here. Its Processing section holds auto-charge defaults, failed-charge retries, surcharging, and "Email a receipt on payment", which is the switch that stops customers getting a receipt email when a payment succeeds.
- Deposits, cancellation and auto-charge policies
- Settings, then Payment Settings
- Stopping booking confirmation emails to customers
- Settings, then Notifications, then Booking confirmation emails, then "Email customers a booking confirmation"
- Customer and staff text messages
- Settings, then Notifications, then Text messages. Customer booking texts, staff new-booking texts and prepaid package texts, alongside appointment reminders and operator alert routing.
- Your plan, invoices and payment method
- Settings, then Billing & Plan. Saving a card here does not start a subscription. Choosing a plan and subscribing does.
- Extra logins for people who sign in
- Settings, then Billing, then Team seats. Owner only. Seats are added to the existing subscription, so they prorate and appear on the same invoice, and removing one credits the unused part. Only people who sign in need a seat: staff who are rostered, booked and paid but never log in are free and unlimited on every plan.
- Bringing a customer list in
- Settings, then Import Data. For a short list, the Contacts page has "Paste a list", which takes lines straight from a notes app in any order, shows the parsed rows to confirm and skips duplicates. Up to 200 per paste; the CSV importer is the tool for bigger books.
- Getting your data back out
- Settings, then Export Data
- Custom fields, email signature and booking message wording
- Settings, then Custom Fields, Email Signature and Booking Messages
- API keys, webhooks, integrations and your own domain
- Settings, then API Keys, Webhooks, Integrations and Custom Domain
- Locations, team and the audit log
- Settings, then Locations, Team and Audit Log
Rostering, timesheets and the time clock
The Rostering group appears once the Timesheets, Rostering & Payroll app is installed. Its price is on the app's page in the marketplace.
- Staff records and pay rates
- Rostering, then Employees
- A person's clock-in PIN
- Rostering, then Employees, open the employee, then Kiosk PIN. Set a 4-digit PIN, generate one, or remove it.
- The in-shop time clock
- Rostering, then Timesheets, then Time clock kiosk. Switch it on, then open the address it shows on any tablet, spare phone or shop computer and add it to the home screen. Staff tap their name and type their PIN to clock on, and tap their name again on the way out to enter break minutes. There is no login and nothing to install, and staff clocking in this way do not use a paid seat.
- Approving recorded hours
- Rostering, then Timesheets. Every punch lands here as a pending entry, and approved hours feed the pay run.
- Pay runs, payslips, STP, awards and leave
- Rostering, then Payroll, Payslips, STP, Awards and Leave
- Job time entries for a tradie on their own phone
- The /dashboard/clock screen. A different thing from the staff time clock above. Member Check-in, the QR or PIN screen on a tablet, is for gym and studio customers arriving, not for staff hours.
Hair, beauty and barbering
The Salon group appears once the Salon Suite is installed. Its price and trial length are on the app's page in the marketplace.
- The appointment book
- /dashboard/salon/book, in the Salon group. A column per stylist, with check in, complete, no show, and "Move to" another stylist. Working on your own? The empty state has an "Add me" button that creates you as the only stylist and opens your column.
- Services, prices and durations
- /dashboard/salon/service-menu. The one place a salon edits services once the suite is installed. Per service: name, price, minutes, category, seniority tier prices, variants, a deposit as a percentage or a fixed amount, bookable online, confirm automatically, rebook after a number of weeks, and "Requires a patch test".
- Taking a deposit on a salon booking
- Set the deposit on the service in the Service Menu, then connect Stripe at Settings, then Card Payments. The "Take payments on bookings" switch lives there too. Without both, the deposit field does nothing.
- Charging what each stylist costs
- /dashboard/salon/staff. Each stylist's seniority tier and their own price or duration overrides per service. The public booking page charges what that stylist costs, not the base price, and clients picking "Choose your professional" only see people eligible for the service they chose.
- Rebooking reminders
- /dashboard/salon/service-menu, then Rebook after (weeks) on the service. When the appointment is marked complete in the appointment book, the client is scheduled a reminder for when they are due again. They need an email on their record for it to send.
- Booking settings and setup
- /dashboard/bookings/availability and /dashboard/salon/onboarding, both re-homed into the Salon group
Real estate
Split across two sidebar groups: Compliance, and Properties. Both groups appear once their app is installed, Trust Accounting and the Property Management Suite, and the prices are on their pages in the marketplace. The listings feed app below is free.
- Trust accounting
- /dashboard/trust-accounting, in the Compliance group. Separate sales-deposit and rental trust accounts, sequentially numbered receipts, a receipts and payments ledger with a running balance you cannot overdraw, reversal entries that keep the reason on the audit trail instead of deleting anything, month-end reconciliation against a bank statement, ABA files for owner disbursements, and CSV and PDF exports for an auditor.
- Leases, rent, inspections and compliance
- /dashboard/property-management
- Tenancy applications, owner statements and portal links
- /dashboard/property-management/applications, /statements and /portal-links
- A listings feed for your own website
- The free Portal Push XML app. Publishes a REAXML and JSON feed of your listings at a URL unique to you.
- Taking your rent roll with you
- Settings, then Export Data. Exports properties, leases, the rent ledger and landlord statements as CSV, one file per dataset. It shows even on an empty account, so you can see what leaving with your data looks like before bringing any in.
Pest control
Appears once the Timber Pest & Termite Reports app is installed. Its price and trial length are on the app's page in the marketplace.
- The register of inspection reports
- /dashboard/pest, in the Jobs group. Four report types: timber pest inspection, pre-purchase timber pest inspection, annual termite re-inspection, and an AS 3660.2 termite management record.
- Starting a report
- /dashboard/pest/new. Seeds the nine areas AS 4349.3 expects an inspection to cover: interior, roof void, subfloor, exterior, roof exterior, grounds and gardens, fences and retaining walls, outbuildings and garage, and trees and stumps within 50m.
- What each area records
- Inside the report, per area. Access (inspected, limited access, or not inspected with the reason), a moisture meter percentage, thermal notes, species, a severity, free notes and up to 12 photos. Live activity, damage, workings, conducive conditions, borers and fungal decay are separate tick boxes, not one "problem found" flag, because they mean different things.
- Sending a report to the client
- Inside the report, once the inspector's name is filled in. Issuing locks the report and mints a link the client opens without a login. Download PDF works at any time, and a report that has not been issued is stamped DRAFT across the PDF. A report cannot be issued until the inspector's name is filled in. Voiding an issued report stops the link resolving, so it genuinely withdraws it, and an issued report can be voided but never deleted.
- The chemical treatment record
- /dashboard/pest/treatments. Product, APVMA number, active constituent, batch number, dilution rate, quantity applied, application method, target pest, treated areas, weather, temperature, wind, technician and licence, and a warranty-until date. Search covers the address, the product and the target pest. It is an internal record, not something posted out with the invoice, and a treatment does not have to be attached to a report.
What OneBookPlus does not do
These come up often enough to be worth stating plainly, so nobody spends an afternoon looking for a screen that is not there.
Can I change the price on a single booking?
No. A booking takes its price from the service attached to it, and there is no price field on the booking. Either edit the line amount when you invoice the booking, or create a second service at the price you need.
Can staff clock in with a card, a fob or a fingerprint?
No. Card swipes, key fobs and fingerprint or face readers are not supported. The 4-digit PIN on the time clock kiosk is the method today.
Does the Salon Suite include a till?
No. The suite does not include a till, tips, client colour-formula cards, no-show fee enforcement or retention analytics. A patch test switch adds a sentence to the client's confirmation and reminder, but it is a notice, not an enforcement: it does not block a booking or record a result.
Do listings go to realestate.com.au or Domain?
No. Neither portal takes listings from a feed URL: REA takes REAXML pushed by a registered feed provider, and Domain takes them through its Listing Management API. Keep your existing uploader pointed at the portals and use the OneBookPlus feed for your own website.
Is trust accounting a licensed statutory trust ledger?
No. It is a trust cashbook, and installing it does not by itself make an agency compliant. Trust rules differ in every Australian state and are independently audited, so it runs alongside what your state regulator requires, not instead of it.
Does the pest app make a report compliant?
No. The app is shaped around what AS 4349.3 expects a timber pest report to contain, but the judgement in the report is the inspector's, and pest management licensing is set state by state. Software does not certify a report.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. The native app is on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. On Android, open onebookplus.com.au in your browser, sign in, and add it to your home screen.
If a screen is not listed here
This page is kept in step with the live sidebar, so a path that is missing is a gap rather than a secret. Tell us what you were looking for and we will add it.
