Timesheets record the actual hours your employees work.
How Timesheets Work
Each timesheet entry records:
- Employee name and position
- Date of the shift
- Clock in time — when they started
- Clock out time — when they finished
- Break minutes — total break time
- Total hours — automatically calculated
- Overtime — any hours over their ordinary weekly hours
- Notes — any relevant comments
Timesheet Statuses
- Pending — submitted but not reviewed
- Approved — manager has approved the hours
- Submitted — sent to payroll for processing
Approving Timesheets
- Go to Rostering → Timesheets
- Review pending entries
- Click Approve to confirm the hours, or Reject with a reason
Approved timesheets feed into payroll calculations.
**Tip:** Encourage employees to clock in and out daily so timesheets are accurate.
