Timesheets record the actual hours your employees work.

How Timesheets Work

Each timesheet entry records:

  • Employee name and position
  • Date of the shift
  • Clock in time — when they started
  • Clock out time — when they finished
  • Break minutes — total break time
  • Total hours — automatically calculated
  • Overtime — any hours over their ordinary weekly hours
  • Notes — any relevant comments

Timesheet Statuses

  • Pending — submitted but not reviewed
  • Approved — manager has approved the hours
  • Submitted — sent to payroll for processing

Approving Timesheets

  1. Go to RosteringTimesheets
  2. Review pending entries
  3. Click Approve to confirm the hours, or Reject with a reason

Approved timesheets feed into payroll calculations.

**Tip:** Encourage employees to clock in and out daily so timesheets are accurate.
