When a review request is sent

The exact timing: a daily 2pm run, over invoices paid the day before, once every 90 days per client.

Review requests are not sent the moment an invoice is paid. They are sent by a daily run, and knowing the timing saves you wondering whether it is broken.

The timing

The run happens once a day at 2pm. It looks at invoices paid in the 24 hours before it, and only those paid at least 2 hours before it.

So an invoice paid at 9:41am today is not asked about at 2pm today. It becomes eligible at tomorrow's run. An invoice paid at 1pm today, one hour before the run, waits for tomorrow too.

What it needs

  • your Google Business profile connected. Without it the run finds nothing to do, because there is nowhere to send the customer.
  • an invoice that has actually been paid. Sent is not paid.

The cooldown

The same client is not asked again for 90 days, however many invoices they pay in between. A customer asked for a review every time they use you stops reading anything you send.

Which plan

The review request after a booking is on every plan. The full Google Reviews reputation engine starts on the Growth plan.
