Key takeaways

  • Billable hours, total hours, billable value and jobs per tech, this month
  • Utilisation is billable divided by total logged hours
Show 2 more
  • Comeback rate needs jobs linked to a vehicle to read at all
  • Monday digest email, and nothing in a week with no time entries

About this app

One screen per mechanic, built from the time entries your techs log against jobs, so it reads whether or not each tech has their own login. For the current month it shows billable hours, total logged hours, billable value at the rate on the entry, the number of jobs worked, and a six week trend of hours. Comeback rate is the share of the vehicles a tech touched that came back inside 30 days, and it only reads on jobs that are linked to a vehicle. Workshop-wide tiles above the table give billable hours, billable value and utilisation, which is billable divided by total logged hours. Certifications sit in the same table, with the ones expiring inside 30 days called out. The owner gets a digest email on Monday morning covering the week just finished, and nothing at all in a week where nobody logged time.

How it works

  1. 1

Techs log time entries against jobs, billable or not

  2. 2

The month is grouped per tech by name: billable hours, total hours, billable value and jobs worked

  3. 3

A comeback is counted when a vehicle a tech touched comes back inside 30 days, on jobs linked to a vehicle

  4. 4

A digest email lands with the owner on Monday morning for the week just finished

Who it's for

  • Owners running 4+ techs who don't know who is actually profitable
  • Service managers wanting a comeback-rate signal early
  • Workshops already logging time entries on jobs that want the numbers read back

Features included

  • Billable hours against total logged hours per tech, this month
  • Billable value per tech, hours times the rate on the time entry
  • Jobs worked this month per tech
  • Comeback rate: vehicles back inside 30 days
  • Workshop utilisation tile, billable divided by total logged
  • Certifications per tech, with the ones expiring inside 30 days
  • Weekly digest email to the owner on Monday morning

About OneBookPlus apps

How Mechanic Productivity Dashboard fits into the rest of OneBookPlus

Most OneBookPlus apps are not external integrations wired up between separate products. They are native modules installed inside the same platform you already use for invoicing, bookings, CRM, and accounting. That means Mechanic Productivity Dashboard reads from and writes to the same customer records, financial entries, and calendar events as every other module, with no scheduled sync delays and no risk of data drift between systems.

Because the marketplace runs inside OneBookPlus, billing is consolidated. Mechanic Productivity Dashboard appears as a single line on the same OneBookPlus invoice as your plan, so you don't end up reconciling separate vendor charges across three or four different SaaS subscriptions. Cancellation is one click and never reaches into your data. Uninstalling an app removes the feature from the UI but preserves the underlying customer, invoice, and booking records, so reinstalling later picks up exactly where you left off.

Every app in the marketplace is built specifically for the Australian small and medium business context: GST and ABN handling are first-class concerns, dates render as DD/MM/YYYY, currency defaults to AUD, and the underlying compliance plumbing (BAS summaries, ATO-friendly records, AHPRA / NDIS / Fair Work checkpoints where relevant) is shared across modules.

For a side-by-side of which features ship as core modules versus which require an installed app, see the features page. For pricing across plans and which apps are bundled at each tier, see the pricing page.
