Mid-job upsell killer. A tech finds extra work mid-service, you add it to the job as a variation and send the customer a link by SMS. They see the scope, the price and the photos your tech took, then approve or decline and sign on the screen. An approval writes back to the job: the variation is marked approved and the amount, grossed up for GST, is added to the contract value as a claimable line, so it reaches the invoice instead of an argument on invoice day. The reply is stamped with the time, how it came in, the signature, the address it came from and the browser. A customer who has not replied in four hours gets one reminder SMS, once, and the workshop gets a daily email listing anything pending more than two days. One screen shows what is pending, the approval rate over 30 days, the median time to respond, the declines and the approved value. What is not here: a decline does not capture a reason, no webhook fires on approval, and the reply does not appear on the job timeline.
