Inviting Team Members
OneBookPlus supports multiple users per business with role-based access control. Invite your team so everyone can collaborate on invoices, contacts, bookings, and more.
How to Invite a Team Member
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- Click Team
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the person's email address
- Select a role (see roles below)
- Click Send Invite
The person will receive an email invitation with a link to join your business on OneBookPlus.
Available Roles
| Role | Access Level |
|------|-------------|
| Owner | Full access to everything, including billing and team management. Only one owner per business |
| Admin | Full access to business data and team management. Cannot manage billing |
| Accountant | Access to accounting, invoices, expenses, and reports only |
| Member | Can create and edit invoices, contacts, bookings, and expenses |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all business data |
Changing a Team Member's Role
- Go to Settings → Team
- Find the team member in the list
- Click the role dropdown next to their name
- Select the new role
- Changes take effect immediately
Removing a Team Member
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click Remove next to the team member
- Confirm the removal
Removing a team member revokes their access immediately. Their previous activity (invoices created, etc.) is preserved.
Plan Limits
The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan:
- Free — 1 user (owner only)
- Starter — up to 3 users
- Growth — up to 10 users

**Tip:** Use the Accountant role for your bookkeeper or tax agent — it gives them access to the financial data they need without exposing client communications or bookings.
