Accept Online Payments with Stripe

Let your clients pay invoices instantly with a credit or debit card via Stripe.

Step 1 — Connect Stripe

  1. Go to Settings → Payment Methods
  2. Click Connect with Stripe
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe to create or connect your account
  4. Complete the Stripe onboarding (business details, bank account for payouts)
  5. Once connected, you'll see your Stripe account ID and status in Settings

Step 2 — Enable Card Payments

Under Payment Methods, tick the Credit Card (Stripe) checkbox and save.

How It Works

When you send an invoice, clients see a Pay Now button on the invoice page. Clicking it opens a secure Stripe Checkout page where they can pay by card. Once paid:

  • The invoice is automatically marked as Paid
  • A payment record is created
  • You receive the funds in your Stripe account (minus Stripe fees)

Stripe Fees

Stripe charges a per-transaction fee (typically 1.7% + 30c for Australian cards). OneBookPlus does not charge any additional payment processing fees.
