Set Up Recurring Invoices

If you bill clients regularly — weekly, monthly, or quarterly — recurring invoices save you time.

How to Create a Recurring Invoice

  1. Create a new invoice as normal (or edit an existing one)
  2. Toggle Recurring on
  3. Choose a frequency:
  • Weekly
  • Bi-weekly (fortnightly)
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Annually
  1. Optionally set a recurring end date (leave blank to continue indefinitely)
  2. Save and send the invoice

How It Works

  • OneBookPlus automatically generates a new invoice at each interval
  • Each new invoice gets a unique invoice number
  • The line items, amounts, and client details are copied from the original
  • You'll see a recurring badge on the invoice in your list

Managing Recurring Invoices

  • To stop a recurring invoice, edit it and toggle Recurring off
  • To change the amount, edit the original invoice — future copies will use the updated amount
**Tip:** Recurring invoices are great for retainers, subscriptions, rent, or regular maintenance contracts.
