Add an app from the marketplace

Apps switch on whole sections of OneBookPlus. Some are free, some are paid, and only an owner or admin can add one.

The app marketplace is how you turn on the parts of OneBookPlus your trade actually needs, without carrying screens you will never open.

Adding one

  1. Go to App Marketplace from the sidebar
  2. Find the app, or search for it
  3. Open it and read what it does
  4. Click Install

The app's screens appear in your sidebar straight away.

Who can do it

Only an owner or an admin. An app can commit the business to a recurring charge, so it sits on the same line we draw around invoices and refunds. An invited member will see the marketplace and will not be able to install from it.

Free and paid apps

Free apps install in one click. A paid app asks you to confirm the charge before anything happens. You will not be quietly subscribed to something because you clicked the wrong tile.

Prices for the paid apps are shown on the app itself and on the OneBookPlus pricing page.

Apps with extra conditions

A few apps have a gate in front of them, and the reason is always the same: the app touches something serious.

  • The ATO and tax practice apps require every user in your account to have two-factor authentication turned on first. You will be told how many people still need to set it up
  • The Google reviews app is part of the Growth plan, because that is how it is sold

Paid apps come with a trial. Read how an app trial turns into a charge before the clock runs down.
